About Bridge of Hearts

Bridge of Hearts is a vibrant, volunteer-driven nonprofit rooted in the Lake Norman region with a heartfelt mission to celebrate, care for, and love our youngest and most vulnerable citizens. Each year, they uplift thousands of children—from pre‑K through 12th grade—by delivering joyful experiences like birthday gifts, books, healthy snacks, and essential hygiene kits. Operating entirely on the generosity of the local community, Bridge of Hearts offers critical support through programs like Caring for Children, which equips housing‑insecure kids with Go Bags filled with sleeping supplies, snacks, and hygiene items—all distributed via school counselors to ensure students in need receive these resources with dignity and care.
